Good Shepherd Parish
Good Shepherd Parish presents an expressive facade with windows strategically placed within the tyndall stone exterior. The coloured glass windows provide an interesting feature, casting rays of coloured light throughout the facility..
Light from the coloured windows fills the Sanctuary and helps to create a place of worship and prayer for the congregation. The large amount of windows throughout the facility help to create an airy feel to the 14,500 square foot facility, especially to the 500 seat nave which features a choir chapel on one side, and a tabernacle chapel on the other.
The Atrium area provides a generous gathering space and includes a baptismal font and coat space. The planning is very functional, maximizing all available space. The facility also features a parish hall with storage and kitchen, sacristy, reconciliation room, and a cry room.
HFA is currently designing the Phase II additions which is to include a meeting room, classrooms, a new administration wing and additional storage for the facility.
